Where did the idea for "Renovation Love" come from?
The word “Renovation” stirs up images of fixer– upper and DIY tv shows in residential housing. You sledgehammer outdated kitchen cabinets, tear down walls, completely re-imagine the floorplan and turn old spaces into something brand new. Instead of renovating houses, we are creating a wellness travel destination on a beautiful piece of property in the country that creates the space to renovate your own interior. We want to teach people to love who they are…a daunting task, indeed! People get burnt out & overwhelmed and end up finally booking a trip to get away. And in that urgent need to take a break from their daily stress, we will be here with amazing amenities & activities, creating a true sanctuary from everyday life, including unplugging from the electronics (if they so choose!) and connecting with nature. We create the space in between spa treatments, bonfires & community dinners for journaling and deep thinking. And somewhere in there, for those who seek it, a Renovation Love Journey might just begin!

Story
An avid reader, meditator, leader in the workplace and true lover of humans, I’ve gone through many challenges & difficulties and surfaced on the other side to discover that my purpose is LOVE. I know without a doubt I am meant to build people up and create a place for people to learn to love who they are.
With 25 years in the mortgage business as an operations & sales leader, I am well equipped to expedite the vision. In my previous role, when the Director of Leadership & Talent Development was out of office I took over. I led the leaders. I co-hosted our monthly leadership book club for managers across the company and all of its subsidiaries. I was also the go to “fixer” for anything anytime. A problem arises – “bring it to Juliet”. That’s just the nature of who I am. I enjoyed that so much, but there was something missing…
This is the venture I have been dreaming of since I was 6 years old – combining healing, serving others, fun activities and farm life with horses. With my love of leadership and people management including hiring, training, mentoring, coaching, handling the numbers and overall business savvy I am ready to launch and turn this vision & mission into reality. I’m fired up and ready to go!
